INTERVIEW WITH REX LEWIS:

Q:What is Siouxzee Cambul to you?
A:All things to all people.

Q:What are some of the most positive aspects of being a member.
A:Winning team!

Q:What are the negative aspects?
A:Not enough sample ram.

Q:How do you see Siouxzee Cambul developing into the future.
A:Megalithic. Out of control hello kitty, japanamie, supervixen with enough firepower to screw up the
galaxy.

Q:Any solo recording plans?
A:Feminissima, and Chris and I are thinking up a cover band.

Q:What kind of creature is Siouxzee Cambul in the studio?
A:A frustrated thirty year old house wife.

Q:Where does the songwriting process begin for you? How does your material develop?
A:Usually with a fragment of guitar, piano, drumbeat or whatever. Sometimes a title comes to me and
the rest expands. Then I bring the rough idea to Scotty P. who unhooks it, guts it, cleans it, then fries it
up in lemon butter.

Q:Lastly what instruments are you currently using? Why?
A: 1997 FenderSquire SuperSonic-Silver Sparkle, Mosrite "Ventures" model replica, Ovation 6-String
Hollowbody (70'S), Rosewood Cello, Kurtzweil K2VX, and the Line 6 AxSys 212 Amplifier and FX
processor.

Q:How do you feel technology benefits or hinders the songwriting process?
A:Technology only allows for more efficiency and professionalsm. However, technology can not
replace organic sound. The main hinderance is in the difficulty of programming. It's very time
consuming and sequencing can take months.

Q:Do you think fame will get the better of you?
A:I think I'll get the better of fame. Oh, and I'm still angery too.
