INTERVIEW WITH SCOTT LOYD:

Q:What is Siouxzee Cambul to you?
A: Siouxzee Cambul is a way of life, its bigger than life, consuming us
all in her path, fucking tornadoes.

Q:What are some of the most positive aspects of being a member.
A: I do it for the chicks.

Q:What are the negative aspects?
A: O.K. so I don't get that many chicks.

Q:How do you see Siouxzee Cambul developing into the future.
A: Did you ever see Aliens???

Q:Siouxzee Cambul does not feature a live drummer? Why?
A: well after about 40 or so drunk, drugged, looser drummer interviews, we
decided to go for a drum machine. Then after about 3 or so sets of livin in the
80's we got the Kurzweil, and the rest is bassy history.

Q:Any solo recording plans?
A: Some day, when I master the gut bucket

Q:What kind of creature is Siouxzee Cambul in the studio?
A: A mean foaming ravaging woman. Watch out boys she can spit!!

Q:Where does the songwriting process begin for you? How does
your material develop?
A: Well I hear music in my head all the time, It never leaves me alown
until I put in form. Then I sit and play with it until it had nothing to do
with what I had originally started(not on purpose).

Q:Lastly what instruments are you currently using? Why?
A: Korg 01W FD, Kurzweil K2VX, and a Korg Prophecy.
The O1W controls all the sequencing, and has about the best voices in
any keyboard I have ever heard. I use the Kurzweil for sampling and as a mate
for the 01W. They love each other. I bought the Prophecy because I liked the
color.....oh yeah its a great solo keyboard also.

Q:How do you feel technology benefits or hinders the songwriting
process?
A: Technology is a way of life, there can be no other way. It can only
help in the long run.

Q:Do you think fame will get the better of you?
A: I'm still angery!!
